How can I edit a NAME.wld file in Office 2007

Under 2007 I am not able to edit a file with .wld extension. Use to be able
to edit them in 2003. Is there a fix
 
Can you describe "edit a file" for us in a little more detail? Are you doing
this in code? If so, can you show us your code? If you are not using code,
can you describe the method you are using? Also, what kind of data is in
this ".wld" file?
