how can I ditch using BTyahoo mail and only use Outlook 2003?

I have BTyahoo mail installed and I only want to use outlook 2003.
I have followed all instructions but the emails still go straight into
btyahoo mail.
I can send emails from outlook but not recv them.

Is "btyahoo mail" another mail client? If so, don't run it and it can't
download your mail. Alternatively, remove the mail account from it and it
can't download the mail.
