How can I disable the read-only feature in disk volume?

I have enable read-only volume in WinXP. How can I use Windows 2000 Pro to
disable the read-only feature in disk volume?

From what I have seen around Read-Only NTFS volumes are
not supported under Windows 2K. E-mail me if you have any
more questions.
