How can I delete a msg with large attchmt from my outbox? Normal .

I have a msg stuck with a large attachment stuck in my Outbox..Outlook has
been trying to send the msg for two weeks. I cannot delete the msg from the
Outbox by normal deletion. Is there some other way to cancel the transmission
or delete the message? thanks fof any suggestions

You didn't mention what version of Outlook, so here are two options.

1) Start Outlook in offline mode and/or get the send/receive to fail. One
method might mean not establishing a dialup session to your ISP (e.g.
disconnect telephone line cord to pc), disconnect ethernet line cord that
connects pc to Cable/DSL modem, or turn off your wireless connection.

2) Create a new Personal Folders file and set that as the default delivery
location. Restart Outlook and then go delete the item from the old outbox.
From there you can switch back to using the existing PST file.
