How can I create a new IE Favorites icon?

Hello,

I appreciate any help. I would like to add a .bmp or .gif
to create a new Internet Explorer 6, Favorites icon. I
would like to easily see this new icon link for a webpage
that is important to me.

Create a folder, call it "Favs", and store the icon in it.

Then when you right click on the link in your favorites column in IE,
choose "properties", then the "Change Icon" button, and browse
to that folder. Make selection and click apply and ok as needed to associate
with that icon."

Save the icon (16 X 16 pixels or IE will ignore it).
