How can I convert text to speech for Windows XP?

Three suggestions:

1. Use the big white text area for your question, not just the subject
line.
2. Post in an appropriate newsgroup. This one is for the database
program, Microsoft Access, not for "general computer access"
questions.
3. Take a look on Google for "Dragon Naturally Speaking" or - more
generally - for speech synthesis software.

Suggest you re-post in one of thw Windows newsgroup. This newsgroup is
actually for Microsoft Access, a database application.

BTW, use the white space in the body of the post to describe what you want
to do in details.

Hrm. Think you're right, Douglas, though it may go both ways. Haven't
investigated, just remember that it's apparently the program of choice
for voice recognition - and voice generation would seem to be an
easier task!
