I have 2 email addresses that I want to use in outlook. I would like to set
up seperate inboxes and be able to send emails from each. Is this possible?

Not sure about Outlook 2007 but in Outlook 2000 and 2003 you can set up two
outlook profiles, one for each account and then have outlook start prompting
you for which account to start in.

This can be done through the mail icon in control panel, when you double
click this, you can show profiles and then add a new one. Also on this page
you can click the prompt for profile to be used.

Then when you open outlook it will give you a box allowing you to select
which account you use.

Hope this is some help

There are a number of ways. One way, a separate mail profile for each
account, would require you to exit and reenter Outlook in order to change
and the data would be completely separate; different contacts, calendar,
mail, etc. Another way is to have both accounts in ine profile. You can
use rules to separate the mail, but contacts, calendar, tasks, are all in
common.

Wow, excellent advice. Since I often access outlook via my iPhone I only
want one contacts list and calendar. So, I believe yout 2nd alternative is
most applicable. I looked for a "rules" option and didn't see it. Please
point me in the right direction to have one inbox, contacts list and calendar
for both email accts., but be able to choose which account I want to send out
from. Thank you,

Ralph

Once you define both accounts, there will be an Accounts button just to the
right of the Send button when composing a message. You use that to select
the sending account.
