1 Outlook, 2 email addresses

I've configured my personal and work email addresses on Outlook and both are
working fine. My only issue is that I would like for both to have seperate
Inboxes. Right now both are being directed to the same (and only) Inbox on
Outlook.

Any suggestions?

thanks

I was able to create a subfolder under my Inbox , but my Rules Wizard
doesn't give me an option to send there using an email address, only messages
from specific people or subject lines. Do you specifically know how to
create the rule for a email address?

thanks for the help

What version of Outlook are you using? If you are using Outlook 2007, you
can handle this in the email account properties. In the Account Settings
window, highlight the email account you wish to modify, then look below the
list of accounts to find the area for "selected e-mail account delivers new
e-mail messages to the following location:" There you can use the Change
Folder button to select the folder you wish to use. You can even set
different accounts to deliver to different PST files. The sent mail will be
saved in a directory within the same PST that the inbox is in.

If you have an older version of Outlook, then you can set a rule with the
following criteria to control the delivery folder:
- Start from a blank rule
- Check messages when they arrive
- With specific words in the recipient's address (use your email address
here)
- Move it to the specified folder (select the folder you wish to use here)

The rules method is not perfect, since it doesn't account for emails that
have that address in the CC or BCC fields. You can use the condition for
"where my name is in the to or cc box', but I don't believe it will work
well for your purposes since both email accounts will be set up on the same
Outlook profile.

I have to say I really like the way Outlook 2007 handles this. If I'd
realized this was a feature sooner, I'd have upgraded long before I did.
