I received an email from my friend with attached document in MS Word. There
is no header and footer is defined and when i try to mention the date or page
number its in Arabic whereas my default langauge is English and there is no
other langauge is defined (Control Panel as well as Office Language tool). I
do not face that problem when i open new document or any other my old files.
I donot know the Version of MS Word my friends has. Anybody can help me to
change the language from Arabic to English in Head and Footer in MS Word 2003?

What happens when you go into the header or footer, press Ctrl+A, then
Tools/Language/Set language and choose English?

The default setting is in the Styles Header and Footer. (Format/Styles and
Formatting). Normally, they both inherit from the Normal style, so you may want
to check that style definition, as well.
