How can I backup on an external hard drive

I try using the backup for my C drive to send it to an
external USB hard drive but it stopped at 4.3 gig... So I
was wondering If somebody could help me... I am runnig
Windows 2000.

Format the external drive with NTFS instead of FAT32. There is a 4.3GB file
size limit in FAT32.
