I need to be able to have a user save items from word,
excel, and email attachments to her my documents on her
computer and have a copy save on another computer she
uses in another building on our network. Either she
saves it and it goes two places automatically, to both
computer's my docs, or the my docs on her local machine
makes a copy of its contents and sends that to the other
machine. Please advise. Is there an easy way to do this
or do we have to buy another program.

If you are running while attached to a Server2000-2003 with Active Directory running, you can do some neet things with folder redirection (the "My Documents and subs can be redirected to the server along with the desktop settings so that a user can long onto different computers and still have the same document set(s) as well as the look and feel of the desktop. A roaming profile can be utilized so that even while working offline, once a logon takes place, files can be synchronized with some settings that allow for which way and whether or not file replacements take place much like synching a PDA.

Beyond that, in a shared file or peer networking environment just save to a shared folder that can be accessed through the Nework Neighborhood, or My Network Places, and browse to the shared file set.

I am shure that are programs that can do this beyond what Windows offers, but these actually work pretty well.

Look into Word and Excel's macro facility. You should be able to write
a very simple macro to do this using Tools|Macros|Record new macro.
Once you've got it recorded, you can either assign a key combination
or put an icon on a toolbar to run it.
