How can I archive recurring meetings in outlook?

I have seen one response that states that all events in the recurring
appointments need to be prior to the archive date. I have checked this and
the end dates for the meeting dates are prior to the archive dates. Has
anyone else run into this?
 
I'm not sure what you are getting at but archiving works based on the
modified date of an item.
 
I should have been more clear in my question but I think Roady answered my
question. If I attempt to archive a recurring item in my calendar and find
that it extends beyond the selected archive date and change the end date of
the item (and I do this today) then the item will not be archived as it was
modified today?
