How can I add a navigation button to my mavigation pane for Outlook Today.
Currently it is in the shortcuts folder. It's inconvenient and would make
more sense if it had a direct button to Outlook Today. Can anyone help? I am
using Outlook 2003.

There should be an Outlook Today button on your Tool Bar.

Thanks Brian, I do have a button on my tool bar, but I would prefer
on down on the navigation bar along with Mail, Tasks, Notes, etc.

That area can't be changed in OL 2003. Only the shortcuts can be changed.
However, if you use the Folder View instead of the view you 're using, you
can click the root of your message store to get to Outlook Today.
