How can I activate the Flag Option?

The Flag Icon on the tool Bar is greyed out as is the Option to: Show Quick
Flag column check box. How can I activate it so as to Flag email messages?

Assuming you are using Outlook 2003 (only version with quick flags - always
post your version), are you in a folder that allows flags? Is this a
corporate environment or a home one?

THX for the quick reply. Yes, I am using Outlook 2003. I am in the folder
called "Inbox in MSN Home" which probably brings up an entirely new set of
questions. I am using this in the home environments and have DSL thru Qwest
that uses MSN so my email address is a " .msn" address. I don't know how to
have my emails come directly into the regular Outlook Inbox which if I am
interpreting your qquestion correctly, might solve my problem.
