Buttons for Flags in Outlook 2003

Fred

I think that everybody in my department is running exactly the same version
of XP Professional and Office 2003. We all use Outlook for our e-mail.

When I want to flag an e-mail, I have to open the e-mail and click the flag
icon in the toolbar. The lady at the next desk has a column of flag buttons
(real buttons -- not just the flag status column) in her inbox that she can
click on to flag an e-mail without opening it.

She doesn't know how she got those buttons to appear, and I can't figure out
where that option resides. Can anybody help?

Thanks.

Hi ya Fred,
Maybe try this,

On the View menu, point to Arrange By,
point to Current View, and then click
Customize Current View.
Click Other Settings.
Under Other Options, select the Show
Quick Flag column check box.

Good Luck!

I'd guess she (or someone) made a custom toolbar with the flag buttons.

That did the trick. Thanks.
(Somebody should write an overture for you.)
