I am wanting to burn the AUDIO portion of a DVD to CD. I can't seem to figure
out how to do this. When I go to MyComputer and view the DVD, I see the video
folder and the "AUDIO_TS" is also listed, but has no files in the folder.
Besides having XP Media Edition, I also have NERO6.
THanks in advance!

Google for DVD audio extraction software. Some are free to use for 30 days
or so.

If you have Creative sound card, their software includes a "Record what you
hear" option in selecting recording source. With that, play the part of the
DVD you want, capturing the audio to file.
