How big an attachment with Hotmail

I need to send a 11MB attachment to a friend with a hotmail account.
Anyone know what the max attachment size is for hotmail?

i think thats the inbox size, sending that much data would take for ever
 
Argreed I remember when I was seting up my Live Mail Account it said that the storage space was 2gb.

What might work is a free web uploading service, and then you can just send your friend the link. 11MB is probably over the filesize limit for hotmail accounts.

Chris Imrie has a file upload service, but its 5MB max - however I did a quick google and found these ones that might do the trick:

Yes, 10 MB is the attachment size limit :nod:


Another enhancement to the Hotmail service is the capability to send attachments up to 10MB in size, up from a previous e-mail maximum size of 1MB including attachments.
