Have 6 PCs. Successfully connected to network -DHCP and
activated Windows on 4. Delayed other two too long, now I
get message to activate before I can logon. Presumably
the PCs will do DHCP like the others, but they are not
finding the network. How do you get into the PC to check
network setting if you cannot logon?
Am I going to have to call?
Thanks!!

I had a problem like this once where the culprit was Zone
Alarm (probably any soft firewall will be the same.)

Apparently Windows activation wanted to access the net
and Zone Alarm would have popped up a dialog box asking
if I wanted to allow it *IF* I was logged in but since I
wasn't yet logged in it just got dropped.

It seems like I ended up doing some really hacky kludge
like booting to a repair console and renaming a file or
something. If it wasn't 2AM I probably would have just
done it by phone. (Then again maybe MS answers the
activation line at 2AM, I don't know.)

You have to get them activated. And as you have left it this long you
will have to take the option to do it over the phone - explaining and
swapping one long number for another to type in.
