hover button

I am using Front Page 2002 and windows XP. Whenever I
insert hover buttons, they appear in normal view only.
In preview or browser view I only see a white rectangle
with a red X. Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?

I think they only work on a web server.....with extensions enabled, and with java
running in your browser.

Hover buttons do not work in Windows XP and IE 6
because XP does not have java virtual machine installed.
They won't show in any xP machine unless the user downloads
and installs virtual machine from Sun Java.
For this reason, folks are no longer using hover
buttons in their webs
