In my win xp, I can surf and view whatever web pages but when I trry to run
the on-line housecall, only the Microtrend logo appears. Any reason why is
that?

Obviosuly, this is a third-party application you are talking about. You might want to contact the

Generally that indicates an infection that's blocking that.
Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

You have IE or some other software blocking the scripts and or cookies
needed to run HouseCall.

See if the Java version (vs the ActiveX version) will run. Also try
temporarily disabling your anti-virus application. (You have one installed,
right?)

Have done the following scans (updated definitions)
Spybot 1.4, Ad-Aware 2007, AVG 7.5 AvirAntivirus,SuperAntiSpyware and
Microsoft LiveOneCare (which I have to remove AvirAntiVirus), nothing helps.
I just ran the Sophos SAV32CLI in Safe mode and it did not help also. Its
strange as about a week ago before it happen, I was able to use it. So I have
all the scripts (Java etc) loaded in my pc. Any other suggestion before
re-installation for seeming a simple problem.... thanks

Ran an alternative housecall scan (active x) and housecall found 2 infections
and removed them. However, I still cannot launch the housecall using JAVA fom
this link

red logo and at the bootom of the screen (just above the task bar, you can
see the word "done' So what is blocking it ????? S.O.S
