Harleykins,

The current hotsynch software that came with your Tungsten E is called Pocket
Mirror standard edition and it is made for Palm by a very reliable 3rd party
developer named Chapura. You can change the Pocket Mirror standard hotsynch
conduit settings to synch your Tungsten handheld data with Outlook on your PC
rather than the Palm desktop application. That change will then allow you to
synch a somewhat limited number of Outlook fields between your Palm and the
native Outlook default Contact folder only. This limited number of fields
is limited due to the native Palm handheld PIM applications that do not
contain as many contact data fields as the full Outlook app on your PC. You
should note that this standard Pocket Mirror edition of synch software will
NOT synch at all with your BCM Business Contacts folder because BCM is an
entirely separate, add-in database into the native Outlook application. In
order to synch your separate BCM Business Contact folder onto a Palm device
you will have to go onto Chapura's website at www.chapura.com and purchase
the most advanced, fully featured, upgrade version of synch software that
Chapura makes for Outlook called Key Suite ($70). Key Suite will synch
multiple Outlook Contact folders including the BCM Business Contact folder
data and best of all is that it will synch ALL of each Contact record's data
fields into more robust Key Suite PIM apps on the Palm that replace the
synchronized use of the more limited native Palm apps that come with your
Tungsten. I have used Key Suite with my Treo and it performs flawless and
reliably. It is the closest thing to carrying most of Outlook on your
handheld. You will also find Chapura to have superb support service. I
cannot recommend them highly enough based upon my own positive real world
user experience.

Best wishes,

Additional comment:

My reply above focused on changes you need to make with the sw apps on your
handheld. I did not comment on procedure. If you are not confident with
this, call Chapura and they will walk you through the specific steps to
follow so that your data is safe and will synch correctly. I have always
been so impressed with how helpful they are on the phone. They are real
experts in the area of handheld synchronization and their procedures are easy
to follow. Best of all ... it works!
