hotspots and links

I have amap with names of places written below it. I would like people to be
able to see the spots on the map and when they either click on the spot or
the name of a place wrtten below the map - the partner hot spot of place name
underneath highlights - so they can see which name goes with each hotspot
without using screen tips - is this possible?

I'm not a big fan of frames but you can use them for this. Or you can have
the button open a new page for the location.
