Hotmail MSN passport broken?

Hi all, for 2 days now I cannot sign in to get my mail, which is
accumulating according to Messenger, but when I attempt to open them, either
from Messenger 6.2 or direct Hotmail log in, I get:

..NET Passport Unavailable at This Site

The .NET Passport service is currently unavailable at this Web site for one
of these reasons:

The site may contain an error or be experiencing a problem that affects the
..NET Passport service.
The site may not be an official .NET Passport-participating site.

I don't see any comments on here yet so just wondering if it is one server
in MS land that I luckily happen to be stored on.

I found the trouble, IE 6 security settings. Had to allow all cookies and
voila, it works again.
