changing msn messenger mail button

ive searched around and havent been able to find anything, what i want
to find is a registry setting for changing the msn messenger 6.2 mail
button..... with hotmail account it opens hotmail, with my gmail
account(linked with .net passport) opens outlook express....... I was
wonding if anyone has found a easy way to change what this button
opens

Greetings Hogrod,

You cannot change this behavior; if you're using an @hotmail.com or @msn.com address, it will
open Hotmail. If you're using another address, it will open your default e-mail handler.
