Hotmail message lost

I was working on a hotmail message for over an hour --
lots of careful detail. Then I clicked "Send" -- a big
mistake, because my internet connection was down at that
moment. I lost the screen, the detailed message, all my
work. Is there any way I can recover the message or text
from cache?

Unfortunately no -- sadly, it's gone (in normal circumstances if you click Back you might be
able to retrieve it, I assume you've already closed the window and/or tried the back button
though).
