Hotmail login page

Is anyone aware of a recent problem in Internet Explorer
that prevents me from going to the Hotmail login page, or
to the NET passport login page? I cannot get to these
pages, but everything else works OK.
I tried to read an article about this in the Knowledge
Base (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813951), but it
seems to be related to some flaw in Explorer update last
year. This problem is too recent to be related to this.
Any suggestions?

Recent issues with password sites.

Fix if This problem occurs after you apply the 832894 security update
(MS04-004) or the 821814 hotfix.

SYMPTOMS
Programs that use Wininet functions to post data (such as a user name or a
password) to a Web server retry the POST request with a blank header if the
Web server closes (or resets) the initial connection request.
