Hotmail Popper 2 converted Hotmail's HTTP to POP3 and worked fine.
Unfortunately, the new version is trialware and the creator has
attempted to rid the web of any traces of the old versions. You may be
able to find an old Hotmail Popper somewhere in Google or eMule. I am
actually using Hotmail Popper 1.02 right now.
Note: I think it is ironic that in my version it says "Hotmail Popper is
100% free, no strings attached!" I guess he decided he might make
profit off of all the people that required his product badly enough.
If there are any other alternatives to this software I would LOVE to know.

Small, fast, no html and attachment-support, but quite handy for use
with your "second" email-adres (like mine ). It's free, but I'm not
sure it's completely free-ware, due to the small adds for their own
product.
