Hotmail emails not shown now Connector installed

Hello all,

My Office 2007 was working perfectly well until I was told that I needed to
install Outlook Connector in order to be able to carry on accessing my
Hotmail through Outlook.

Now that I have the Connector installed, Outlook seems to be connecting fine
but I can't see any of the emails in any of my personal folders withing the
hotmail account. I know there are emails there because I can read them via
hotmail.com.

Why can I not see them anymore? I called Microsoft but they were completely
useless and kept me on the premium rate phone number for a good 10 minutes.
The online help doesn't seem to recognise my user ID. Yes before you ask I do
have a genuine copy for the poduct....I don't know why I bother though.

Please please please give me a helping hand. I'm no computer mong I just
can't seem to get it to work!

Thank you.

Can you see what is in the inbox?

I would start with a new profile - keep the current one but make a new one
and see if it works. (close outlook then go to control panel, mail).

Thanks Diane,

I've tried doing that again and no joy. I'd already thought that might do
the trick but nope. I can see only the personal folders which I've set up on
Hotmail. I can't see any of the content within these folders. I can send
emails from the account but it isn't shown in the Outlook 'Sent Items' box.
It is however show in the Hotmail.com 'Sent Items'. It's clearly linking just
not downloading the emails. I have set the program to download the full
message and headers.

Any more ideas.....please!
