D Dave Apr 25, 2009 #2 You can still access your Hotmail account like you did with Outlook Express if you use the newer Windows Live Mail. Also, you can now access your Hotmail account using POP3 in Windows Mail (from most countries). http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry However, Windows Mail is hard-coded to reject Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts. But you can fool it by entering a fake email address ([email protected]), and then changing it to your real address ([email protected]).
