hotmail account

every time i open outlook express, i get a message that
says "the service is not availiable." It fails to check
my hotmail account. I click the ok button and
send/recieve again and does check my hotmail account. is
there anyway to get it so that i don't have to
send/recieve twice?

This newsgroup is for Outlook. Repost your query in a newsgroup for Outlook
Express (which used to be called Internet Mail & News). Outlook Express a
lite version of Outlook. The two products are not related.

If you use an NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol) capable client, like
Outlook Express, search your server for newsgroups with "outlook" and
"express". If you are using a web based interface to newsgroups, do a
search on "express". If you are using Microsoft's web interface then look
under Internet Explorer of which Outlook Express is a component.
