Hotmail account and Outlook 2003

Hi there,

If I add hotmail account to Outlook 2003 any email I send using hotmail I
will see a copy of it into Local / Sent Items folder. It wasn't the same
with Outlook 2002. The "problem" is that at office I use Outlook for both
the business and personal emails, personal being under hotmail account. And
having a copy to business folder any network administrator with rights can
read my personal email.

Does anyone know how to disabled this ?

Thank you in advance,
Traian

First, disable saving saving your messages to Sent Items. Then, create two
rules. One will copy messages sent via your Hotmail account to a Hotmail
folder. The other will copy messages sent by your work account to your
local Sent Items folder. I've tried it. It works.

Hi Brian,

I tried this but I have few problems.
First, I cannot setup any rule for Hotmail account. The office computer I
have Microsoft Exchange Server and Hotmail, and at home I have Personal
Folder and Hotmail. Non of these configurations I can setup any rule to
Hotmail.
Second, I disabled saving messages to Sent Items and implemented the rule
for Exchange/Personal Folder. It works ok, with two problems. The emails in
Sent Items are unread, so bolded, and I do have to click on each one to make
them read, and second, if I sent an email from Hotmail, it GETS to the
Exchange/Personal Folder into Sent Items and it doesn't get (as expected,
because of no rule) to Hotmail Sent Item folder.

The only "good" part from this is the issue from the other posting: "Single
quotes surrounding email display name in Outllook 2003", it doesn't put the
quotes anymore to sent emails.

Regards,
Traian

Oops. I lied. The other account with which I tried this was not a Hotmail
account, but an SMTP/POP account. I've got a lot of accounts and I chose
the wrong one. Sorry.
