Hotfix 900485 for XP SP2

Any idea why this hotfix (April 26, 2006) contains a very old file
(27-May-2005)? Is this yet another mix-up by that company in Redmond?

It came on my system as part of critical update!!

CAUSE
This *date* -problem occurs because of a timing issue.
