Hotfix 816868 and 889293

One of my application require the hotfix 816868 in IE6 in order to download
some files from the server. It is also one of my requirements to install the
889293. However it is found that after install the 889293 workstation again
can't download any file from the server, just like 816868 is removed.

Appreciated if anyone can let me know if there are any soloution for the
problem.
