Not sure what you mean by addresses. The IP addresses won't do you much good
as they change, and there are a lot of . What kind of firewall or proxy
server do you use?

Might not work all the time since they could change. How about blocking at the firewall?

i work at a school and we have problems with kids get on to the email
accounts at hotmail instead of working is there somewhere i can get a list
with all of the: www.hotmail.*, www.msn.* and www.encrta.* addresses?

I saw another post by Tim Holman in 'security' that might also help:

===========================
At the most basic level, edit the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file
and put in:

127.0.0.1 www.google.com

At the more advanced level, products like NetNanny, firewalls and proxy
servers will do what you need.

Regards,

Tim
===========================

Then you could protect the Hosts and LMHosts file by restricting it to admins.

Hope this helps.
