Hot link to external file

Hello Friends,

I'm a fairly new user (non-programmer) developing a new database.

The data will be information about PDF documents. It is possible include a
"hot link" to the external PDF file?

The result would be a query result or report of selected PDF files, and the
user could then click on the "Hot Link" and an Adobe Reader window would open
with the PDF file visible (on the top of the screen).

Ideas?
