Hot Do I Send macros with Excel Workbooks?

When I send via email a workbook for which I have written macros the macros
do not work for the recipient.
Is there any way to be sure that the macros are emailed as part of the
workbook?
Thanks,

What version of excel are you using?
What version of excel is the recipient using?
What is the file format of the workbook you're sharing?

Is the recipient allowing macros to run when he/she opens the file?

Is there an antivirus program (at either end) that could be interfering?

The macros are a part of the workbook. When you send the workbook, you send
the macros. Read what Dave said. HTH Otto

That is true so long as the macros, if recorded, were recorded in 'This
Workbook' and not into a different workbook or are in his Personal.xls file.

But I, just like you, suspect that something that Dave Peterson addressed is
the real culprit.
