Had a small utility in the past which regularly downloaded a updated
hosts file from the web installed it . Did a complete reload of my
system and was unable to find it in my backup to reinstall. Alas, I am
unable to remember( old timers disease) from where I obtained it or what
it is named only that I got the reference from a trusted source or I
would not have had it on my computer. I have found that information
obtained through Microsoft Newsgroups to be a great and trusted
resource. I used this because I work out town for extended periods and
wanted something that made it easy on my wife. Lee

Great website. Has everything I am looking for and more. Many thanks
for the quick response and information. It may not update automatically
, but it should make updating very simple and safe for a computer novice
like my wife. This is why I always come to these newsgroups for help.

Just found that Hosts Secure does have automatic update and just found
my previously downloaded cop and installed it. worked just great.
Hostman was ok, but Host secure did the trick. Lee
