I have three pcs running windows xp. I have one connected to broadband via a
USB ethernet connection. This host pc is connected to a Hub and so is the
other two pcs. I run the network wizard on all three pcs and everything
works fine and i am able to share my internet connection. When i switch off
the host pc however and switch it on again later it seems to forget the
network settings and the two other pcs are no longer able to connect to the
internet. To solve the probelm i have run the network wizard on the host pc
again and then it works fine. But whenever i switch it off it seems to
forget its settings.
The pcs are running Windows XP SP1.

Thank you in advance to anyone who may be able to help me solve this
annoying problem.

Why don't you use Internet Connection Sharing?

Goes into the properties of your Broadband connection
under start, settings, network connection and under
Advanced tab, check the box under
Internet Connection Sharing.
