Sorry, just trying to be funny. What do you use the HOSTS file for these
days (other than situations on private networks that can't use DNS or WINS)?

Are these HOSTS files completely free for use and redistribution?

I use the HOSTS file at http://webpages.charter.net/hpguru/hosts/hosts.html
and it comes archived with a PGP Signature to enable verification of its
authenticity, but I am not aware of any restrictions on its use or
distribution. I wouldn't touch a HOSTS file unless I had absolute
confidence in the source.
