Horrible pixelation for all sites

I recently purchased a Dell Laptop and since purchase the Internet Explorer
has been useless. When used all pictures are loaded with extreme pixelation,
any larger text also has this problem. I would like to fix this problem or
uninstall and reinstall IE. What can I do?

I have the same exact problem. It seems IE 'enlarges' images and thus
distorts them. This does not occur with Netscape. I came to this forum
looking for the same answer.

Seeing as you've had this problem "since purchase", did you ask Dell to make
it right under the terms of their warranty?

Thanks! That link led me to the solution. I had already turned off Image
resizing, but changing the registry setting did it. Thanks again!
