Horizontal & Vertical Ruler bars in Word

Hello,

Some pc's (and applications) show horizontal and vertical cursor lines
on the screen. (If you are a mainframe person, you will understand
what I am talking about). Its the 2 lines (horizontal and vertical)
that moves along with the cursor on the screen.....

Does Word allow such cursor lines and if so, how can I set it up. What
are the settings for that?

Thanks
Kamur

No, Word doesn't support guidelines that move with the cursor. But you
can show nonprinting gridlines, and you can control the spacing
between the lines.

To show gridlines, display the Drawing toolbar, click the Draw button
at the left end of it, and select Grid from the menu. In the dialog,
set the line spacing and check the box for "Show gridlines on screen".
