I run XP Pro, I normally log in without Admin privileges,
my home page is
file://...My Documents/home.html
So, I get a popup when I log in saying that the start
page has been changed.
Ok, so I go to tools, Real-Time, App Agent, checkpoints
and eventually I can
check a box next to this URL. But, of course, it does
not 'stick' because, I
assume, I don't have enough privileges. Now, if I log on
as administrator I
will not the URL for that start page, because, I assume,
it is for another
user.

Perhaps MS antispyware is not hip to multiple users on
one system with
different privileges? Must I wait for Vista?

In this early beta version, Microsoft AntiSpyware does not work fully
correctly under any account other than one with Administrator privilege.

You can try working around this by assigning a Security Permission to the
folder "C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware" of the form "Everyone:Full
Control".

Under XP Home, security permissions are editable only in Safe Mode.
Under XP Pro, you need to turn off "Simple File Sharing" in control panel
"Folder Options", tab "View", Advanced Settings.
