How is it possible for Windows XP Home to change into Pro version, all by
itself?

Have I caught something nasty, or is it something strange with Update?

I am assuming you are not a troll, and therefore answering you...

Home cannot change into Pro by itself.

Either you are confused, or you have indeed caught something nasty.

What makes you think your Home morphed to Pro?

Can't say, as you're describing something that could not possibly have
haoppened, and not providing any details. You're not even saying why
you think this alleged "miracle" took place.
