Home/Pro compatability on a network

I have 5 computers plus this one in my home running XP Home.
One of the computers at work acts as a server only and has
all of our Quickbooks data files on it. All the other
computers have Quickbooks 2002 Pro on them and use the data
files on the server. Can I upgrade the server and my home
computer to XP Pro so I can access QuickBooks files from
home via the internet without upgrading the other computers
from XP Home? Will this freak ou the network, or is Home
and Pro seamlessly compatible?
