how can i change the default address to something else not
just change the home page but the default home page

in ie tools options and type in a new home page click apply.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

and in the right hand pane, double click "Local Page" and set it to what you
want.

Hi Frank

Can you explain about it more precisely how I can change my default
home page. You know I have almost the same problem but in different
way.
Every time I set my homepage to what I want, after few minutes an
error occurs and I E suddenly closes because of the error. Next time
when I open my Internet Explorer, my homepage has been changed to
"res://mshp.dll/index.html#10213." If you know what is wrong, please
let me know.
