I use MSN as my home page. Wednesday when I launched my
browser a different page came up (ShaZaa.com) I have
attempted many times to change my home page back to MSN
but it continues to revert to ShaZaa.. How can I stop
ShaZaa from inserting itself as my home page.

aeakin,
Look in Add Remove for "SHAZAA SearchBar"
From their EULA:
"This sometimes will include the installation of other 3rd party software
with their own license requirements. By accepting this install you are
agreeing to accept those licenses at this"

I have the same problem but with:

http://real-yellow-page.com/index.php?aid=420

It is an unknown (to me) seach engines with lots of
advertising. I hate it.

I can change it temporarily, but when the computer is shut
off and turned back on, it takes over again.

I found nothing in add/remove programs that sounds
similar. I will check out the unwanted malware and
parasite link from the other response.

Any other thoughts?

How to remove Coolwebsearch and affiliates

Note: this type hijack indicates an unpatched machine, that is lacking
in "Defense". Please visit Windows Update to avoid these exploits.
