I select a home page and then use internet options to
keep the home page. As soon as I log off and then log
back in, I lost the home page and it is something that I
don't want. How do I get rid of this and keep my home
page?

Try this in the registry: click START/ RUN/ type regedit goto
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
scroll down the list to "Start Page", then right click and "Modify" ..type
your desired home page (eg.) http://www.google.com/
