I have Hotmail as my Home Page, but it is constantly
being replaced by another different home page always the
same one. I go to tools then the general tab, click the
current button and back comes Hotmail but after an hour
or so or maybe a day, back comes the the rogue home page
again. Hope somebody can help.

Install and run the free version of AdAware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com

It may detect an unwanted "intruder" and give you the option to uninstall it.

Do you have a pop-up blocker installed? I have found this:
"If your homepage is set to SearchBy.net and you don't recall setting it
as your home page, it was probably set as a result of the terms of use
of the Ultimate Popup Killer program."

If this is the case, Ad-aware won't detect this as spyway/malware.
