Home Page Won't Load

When I first open IE6, my home page begins to load, but is
then stopped. In the location area it shows "About:Blank"
which comes from the internet options general tab.
Although my home page is typed in correctly in the field,
the "Use Blank" option overrides it and my home page will
not load. This only happens on opening the browser. If I
hit the home button, it takes me to my correct page.

Also, when offline, I am unable to use any of my menu
items, such as going into tools-internet options, or even
viewing my version information.

Any help out there?

Clark,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
