Home page Not Loading in Explorer

When going to my home page (MSN.com) the page loads and then sits with a
message saying there are 2 items waiting to load. I have another system next
to this one running Windows 2000pro and when I open that one to the same
place the items all load. I found the 2 items are flash items from
Microsoft. I have checked all security settings and cannot find what is
causing them not to load. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem might
be?
P.S. I have checked that I have the Flash Player and it works fine.

Internet Options, Home Page, Use Blank or Use Default?
